Designed to accompany the award-winning Flyde dining table, the Flyde Sideboard also makes a stylish statement as a stand alone piece. Use the sideboard to house media equipment or provide extra storage. Available in a 3 or 4 door version, with flexible custom shelving to accommodate your intended use.

Solid materials, simple design

The Flyde Sideboard is proudly handcrafted in New Zealand from raw European Oak. Mike selected this timber for its superior, low drying process and its very straight and subtle grain. This gives the sideboard strength while allowing its stylish, timeless design to shine.

The sideboard uses the same solid materials and simple design as the Flyde Table. The exposed mortise and tenon joints add a contemporary design feature, with a balanced triple detail in Wenge, a dark brown African hardwood with close, blackish veining. The natural texture of the timber is finished in an eco-friendly, water based invisible oil giving a ‘naked’ look to the sideboard. A veneer is used on MDF to add strength to the doors.

Each piece of furniture takes up to two weeks to be meticulously handcrafted. Waitlist times can vary but expect to receive delivery of your piece of Mike Laustsen Furniture in approximately three months.
